About Us

Brooklyn Radio Dispatcher coordinates non-emergency medical transportation and car service in New York City. Covered medical trips are for the five boroughs and are requested through the insurance plan, a healthcare facility, or the transportation manager. After approval, you can ask the transportation manager to assign Brooklyn Radio Dispatcher Inc. Eligible passengers do not pay the driver.

Car service is separate. Local rides, airport drop-offs, and long-distance trips are booked by phone at (718) 384-2525.

Vehicles

A covered medical trip is a sedan. SUVs, minivans, and suburbans are not covered by the insurance. Those vehicles are available on a paying car-service ride. Call (718) 384-2525 to confirm.

Who drives

The person behind the wheel is an independent contractor with a TLC license, not an employee of Brooklyn Radio Dispatcher Inc.

I'm shocked to see all these negative stories about Brooklyn Radio Dispatch. I have to say that the company suffered during the Covid crisis but the company did try to provide rides. Even though they were short of staff. I've always found the Dispatchers to be very helpful, reliable and they always seem to get me back home. I still believe that Brooklyn radios dispatch is the best Car service especially for the med answering medical providers. They go to all areas so give them a chance they are a reliable group of people.
